Wow, That Was Freaking Awesome. And No, I Still Won’t Be Watching Next Week

by Albert Bianchi on February 20th, 2007

NASCAR, for the first time ever, passed the Holy-Shit-I-need-to-tell-someone-about-what-I-just-saw test. Congratulations, National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing, you did it. All it took was a 2/100ths of a second separation between the first and second place finishers, a crash on the final lap and some dude crossing the finish line on his roof while his engine was on fire. Awesome! After he crossed the finished line, his car flipped back right-side up in the infield and he calmly got out his window as flames flew out of his car, then he just stood right next to his car — which was on FIRE! The only way it would have been more badass would be if he lit a cigar off of his flaming engine. And then maybe Truck-o-saurus. Everything is better with Truck-o-saurus. And no, I’m not going to look up the driver’s name, that would only waste valuable seconds.
