Who Wants to Seek Forgiveness From Mutombo?
A racist Orlando heckler targeting Dikembe Mutombo during a preseason game has written a formal apology. (Never thought I’d have to write that again.) I don’t really have a joke here, but I just thought it was interesting that Dikembe Mutombo was still in the NBA and that someone would go to a preseason game and heckle him. Also, how is someone named Hooman Hamzehloui not aware that calling an African a “monkey” could be considered racially insensitive? I mean, Hooman should know all about insensitivity, as he was likely mocked incessantly as a kid. Children are so cruel.
Hooman wants to apologize in person as well, presumably to hear Dikembe Mutombo talk. Ok, maybe one joke.
