The Theme Song that Will Make You Pine for the Days of John Tesh
The NBC ad wizards strike again, as Pink is named the artist they have selected to sing the theme for their Sunday Night Football telecasts. I’ve been trying to come up with any way anyone could possibly think this was a good idea. There are none. I mean, Pink has no football affiliation, isn’t talented, hell, she isn’t even popular. There must be no one at NBC Sports left over from the old NBA on NBC days, because they might have had the greatest television theme known to man, John Tesh’s “Roundball Rock.” Either that or the guys are still there, only they’ve suffered severe head trauma.
Those NBC guys did get one thing right, as they hired John Williams to do the instrumental theme. Here’s hoping they ditch the Pink song as soon as possible.

wow pink?!?…. i am devastated…no sports themes can be bad…except for the nba playoffs each year but i have come to expect that…it just fits in with me hating the new nba(pistons, heat, yada yada yada)
