South Carolina 15, Mississippi State 0 - Neither teams offensive line shows for game, the ole Ball Coach whips out a double pass, and elementary students everywhere giggle at Chris Smelley and Ryan Succop of the Gamecocks. Tee-hee.
Iowa State 45, Toledo 43 - Nothing inflates scores like college football overtime. Baseball should try some convoluted tie-breaking system instead of steroids. College football’s OT is praised for some reason.
Minnesota 44, Kent State 0 - This game was a massacre.
(24) Arizona State 35, Northern Arizona 14 - Northern Arizona University’s mascot is a lumberjack. They’re logo is mountains. And all this time I thought Arizona was desert.
Nationals 6, Phillies 5 - Ryan Howard continues to be ridiculously good at baseball, sets Phillies homerun record.
Yankees 6, Tigers 4 - A-Rod gets one of those bloop singles that tend to break slumps. Later hits solo homer. Sometimes, a little luck is all you need.
