Quincy Carter, Heir to the Newton Cowboy Throne
Following in the big footsteps of former Cowboys Nate Newton and Michael Irvin, former Dallas QB Quincy Carter has been arrested for possession of marijuana. Police were called to a woman’s home where Carter was “throwing things around” very early in the morning. Fortunately, Carter probably didn’t hit anything based on his performances in the NFL.
The fact that Carter was arrested for drug possession is not very surprising since he was run out of the NFL amid rumored drug problems. However, Carter was bailed out of jail by a renowned Dallas area sports columnist, Randy Galloway. I’m no expert, but I think paying for your next column is not the most professional thing to do.
