Professional Japanese Golfers…They’re Just Like You and Me!
Actually, sometimes they’re significantly worse. Mitsuhiro Tateyama, who makes his living by playing golf better than average human beings, shot a 19 on a par 3. That’s 16 strokes over par. It’s a sexdecuple bogey. The most amazing thing is Tateyama finished the round only 13 strokes over par. He was 3 under the rest of the day.
This is the appeal of golf though. Sometimes even the worst duffers can hit a beautiful shot that lands softly on the green. Sometimes a professional can look like something out of a Dorf video. Also, I think theres something about how dressing like a goofy white guy isn’t shunned that also makes golf appealing.
