Previewed! NFC East

by Albert Bianchi on September 6th, 2006

Predictions and anecdotes from the division Terrell Owens held hostage.

1. New York Giants - The Giants continued their quest to field a team entirely of lesser talented younger brothers by drafting Sinorice Moss in the 2006 draft. Now they have the lesser Moss, Barber and Manning. Expect them to make runs at Boss Bailey, Terrence Holt and Cullen Jenkins. Offensively, they’re just as good as last year’s team. Defensively, the addition of Lavar Arrington adds a big playmaker to one of their weaker positions last year. The season really depends on the maturation of Eli Manning, everything else is set.

2. Washington Redskins - Clinton Portis’ genius cannot be denied. His health can certainly be questioned. Mark Brunell’s age cannot be calculated. Chris Cooley’s position cannot be defined. Daniel Snyder cannot be satisfied until he wins a Super Bowl. The Skins cannot win the Super Bowl this year.

3. Dallas Cowboys - For all the Big Tuna’s genius, he hasn’t been in the Super Bowl in near a decade, and hasn’t won one in nearly fifteen. TO is quite the weapon, but if he and Parcells don’t butt heads of their own accord, the media will certainly force it upon them. That, plus their quarterback is either Drew Bledsoe or Tony Romo. And now I want some ribs.

4. Philadelphia Eagles - The highlight of the Eagles season this year is probably going to be a movie about one of their old special teams players. Not a good sign.

oh also the giants are getting absolutely no love from the media and i love it… i mean we won the division last year and got seriously better with moss on offense and the madison demps and arrington on defense.. not to mention a year of maturity all we have to do is actually show up in the playoffs this year
