Billy Donovan is expected to take one of the newly vacant NCAA head coaching positions, as he was fired after his third sub-par season as head coach of the Orlando Magic. Donovan joined the Magic after winning back-to-back NCAA titles. His tenure started with much promise, but the Magic’s young, talented frontcourt failed to develop. Donovan’s regime never took off, and officially hit rock bottom after the infamous “Shaq and Penny aren’t walking through that door” speech. Donovan claims he has no regrets, but his cryptic comments about the Ol’ Ballcoach’s advice have raised a few questions.
