Cricket Now Officially Terrifying
Before I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Sure, cricket fans are crazy, but not so crazy to, you know, poison a coach. Just crazy enough to watch cricket. They’re not soccer fans. I mean, right? But now, oh shit.
Jamaican officials are calling the death “suspicious,” but refuse to comment whether it was suspiciously like a murder or suicide. A police spokesman brilliantly obfuscated,
It’s the old adage - we have to keep an open mind and that is exactly what we are doing. We are conducting an investigation. It means that any sudden death will be treated as suspicious until we can show otherwise and that is what we will do. When we get the results back from the pathologist we’ll go to the coroner and then we can decide what to do next.
The autopsy was inconclusive. Today’s one of those days where I’m really glad I don’t “get” cricket.
