Brett Favre, the Indecider
Brett Favre is up to his ole Hamlet habits. Last time he wasn’t sure if he wanted to announce that he was unsure whether he wanted to retire. Now, Favre is saying that when he demanded a trade following the NFL draft, he didn’t really mean it. On the Packers’ website, Favre (’s publicist) writes:
I was frustrated a couple weeks back when Randy Moss was traded to New England. I never wanted to be traded and I don’t want to be traded. I want to be in Green Bay. I want to finish my career as a Packer. Sometimes when I get frustrated I let my emotions get the better of me.
The truth of the matter is that Brett Favre is right about one thing: Randy Moss would be a perfect fit on the Packers. Brett Favre just wants to throw jump balls off his back foot, Randy just wants all the passes thrown to him, jump balls or not. It would be the best experiment in what happens when you give a superstar what he wants since Kobe and the Lakers.
