Blazer Takes Baby-Steps, Is Simply Near Crime
Because today is a very slow news day, any sort of criminal activity peripherally involving an athlete makes the cut. And thusly, reports surfaced today of Zach Randolph’s “involvement” in a sexual assault case. The investigating officer is quick to point out that Zach is not a suspect. Honestly, being part of an investigation isn’t anything for the Blazers management or the NBA to get worked up about. This really is more likely simply damning to the people Zach Randolph hangs out with, not so much Zach Randolph himself. Like I said, slow news day; athletes are in the news for not committing crimes.

He may have only been “near” crime, but he has already retained the highest profile defense attorney in Portland, Stephen Houze. Hiring an attorney is always a good move when you are a public figure but methinks it might mean there is something more to this.
