The Triumphant Return of the Ain’ts
Hey, remember when the Saints were America’s team last year, slanging the ball all over the field? Remember how it made everything better in New Orleans? That was very uplifting, but that was last year. This year, the Saints have apparently set a new goal: to return a sense of normalcy to New Orleans. And after all, one of the most predictable things of the New Orleans of old was the Saints sucking out loud. Thusly, in a heroic self-sacrifice, the high flying Saints of last year have given way to the familiar Aints of yesteryear. Last night they dropped to 0-3. Today we learned that Deuce McAllister might be out for the season. Yep, these are the old Saints alright.
All we need now is a horrendous show set in New Orleans and it will be just like old times.
