An Open Letter to the NFL Teams that Aren’t the Chicago Bears

by Albert Bianchi on November 26th, 2007

Dear NFL Teams that Aren’t the Chicago Bears,

Kick the ball out of bounds, do not kick to this man:

It doesn’t matter how close to the endzone the Bears get the ball, the offense is in the hands of this man:

It is not a sign of confidence in your special teams to kick the ball to Devin Hester, it is a sign of hubris. It’s not an act of cowardice to kick away from him, it’s an act of intelligence. You know how you can stack the line to try and entice an offense to pass the ball instead of running it. That’s trying to keep he ball out of a specific player’s hands. It’s game planning, nothing else. Don’t kick the ball to Devin Hester. It’s quite simple. You’re welcome.

Sincerely,

Dejuiced
