Actual Meaning Translator: Charlie Weis Edition

by Albert Bianchi on August 21st, 2007

Jimmy Clausen is way ahead of schedule. It took a couple years before Brady Quinn became a complete joke. Clausen was a complete joke as he was being recruited. Clausen stayed right on track by being cited for the police for waiting outside a liquor store while a 23-year-old cohort bought booze inside — which was totally for the 23-year-old and not for Clausen. The citation wasn’t made public until last Friday. Yesterday, big Chuck commented:

“I think it’s out of ignorance — and by ignorance I mean lack of knowledge,” Weis said. “I don’t think he was defiantly trying to get himself into trouble with the law.”

Well damn, I’m not sure that exactly needs to be translated, but we’ll give it a whirl anyways.

“Jimmy Clausen is ignorant.”

That’s good enough for me.
