Pictures have surfaced that feature Michael Wilbon and J.A. Adande with porn stars. Wilbon and Adande, who both work for ESPN, were pictured with porn stars including Carly Parker and Lisa Lipps. The pictures were taken at a Hollywood club after the Los Angeles Lakers won Game 3 of the 2008 NBA Finals.

No Powe show here. The Celtics stopped playing with less than 30 seconds to go as the Lakers went on to win Game 3 87 to 81. Why no foul there Celtics? Why just let the clock run? Anxious to get back to your hotel room? What? I’m curious.
Kobe Bryant looked a bit like Kobe […]

Really thought we would talk about something else tonight?
Leon Powe went crazy in Game 2 of the NBA Finals. Being featured during the halftime show just wasn’t enough for him. He scored 21 points and was the star of the game. Sure that we didn’t miss any of it but if you need a […]

“We are absolutely thrilled to align with Greg because he strongly shares the same values of community involvement and commitment to our youth,” said McDonald’s Owner/Operator and Co-Op President, Doug Wacker. “We can’t think of a better local ‘larger than life’ person who is such a positive role model for so many kids, […]

I’ve been watching the NBA playoffs and loving almost every minute of them. From the controversies to the Game 7s, I’ve been happy. But I do have a problem with one thing. THE INTROS! I’m not a fan. All of them are either just OK or pitiful. Where are the chills? Where are the goose-bumps […]

Well, maybe not a conspiracy. But think about it. Who really wants to see the Spurs back in the NBA Finals? I personally don’t care, I’ll watch it anyway, but David Stern would not be happy. After this intriguing NBA season, everyone would love to see a Lakers vs. Celtics Final. But would it […]

Remember when Josh Howard went on that Michael Irvin radio show and said that he liked to smoke weed and a lot of other NBA players smoked it too? Well gee golly Batman, he was right! At least about one other player.
Joakim Noah, of the Chicago Bulls and 2-time National Champion Florida Gators, […]

I’m writing this while the Boston Celtics - Detroit Pistons series game 3 is beginning. And I’m wondering what else is going on in the world of the NBA. Just curious to know what the players not involved in these conference finals are up to. I’m sure you were interested to. Here I’ve put together […]

Al touched on the creepiness of these NBA commercials not too long ago, but this one featuring Kevin Garnett and Lebron James caught my eye for a different reason. It’s that first line: “I remember seeing Bird win it all.” Let’s do the math, shall we? Bird and the Celtics won the NBA Championship in […]

OK, so this isn’t really new — SportsCenter has included non-game plays in Top Plays for a while now — but I’ve always found it interesting when SportsCenter decided to place a non-competitive play in it’s Top Plays (not to mention shots of fans, championship parades and other things that can’t even be classified as […]

This weekend, the wildly anticipated NBA playoffs began. And while there were some great games, for me, the lasting image is half-Kobe-half-Shaq lecturing me on fear. Though the commercials have been around for a while now, they’ve received heavy rotation during the playoffs. I actually thought the commercials were pretty neat, if a bit unsettling. […]

The Blazers drafted Greg Oden with the first overall pick, then Greg Oden suffered a season-ending knee injury. Greg Oden had microfracture surgery, and has just been cleared to participate in light drills. Greg Oden then played in a pick-up basketball game. The Blazers, unsurprisingly, were a bit upset.
Said coach Nate McMillan to the paper, […]

Chris Webber is retiring. And now, the requisite time-out clip. Let’s just get it out of the way.
Yes, Chris Webber’s legacy will forever be tied to the Fab Five — along with cohorts Jimmy King, Ray Jackson, Juwan Howard and Jalen Rose — and that fateful timeout. And although they never technically existed, I still […]

LeBron James is 23 years old. He would have difficulty renting a car (if he were not LeBron James.) He is the Cleveland Cavaliers all-time leading scorer. All-time.
James passed Brad Daugherty as Cleveland’s career scoring leader in the first quarter and finished with 29 points, leading the Cavaliers to a 90-83 win over the Toronto […]

Andrew Bynum, who was really supposed to be back playing by now, is just starting to run on a treadmill. This treadmill workout marks his most strenuous physical activity yet. It also marks the first I’ve heard of a $75,000 treadmill.
The Lakers’ athletic training staff leased the $75,000 treadmill in order to help speed the […]

Hilarious, hilarious impressions. As the Rockets continue to win without any regard for the records of their opponents, it appears that they’re having quite a bit of fun. Here’s a clip from the local FSN affiliate featuring Dikembe Mutombo’s teammates doing their best Dikembe. Not only is the video entertaining, it’s educational. I’ve learned that […]

In semi-related news, my words shape the future. I am a conduit of time-force, or something. You see, last Thursday, when discussing Pat Reilly’s genius plan to avoid having to go to Miami Heat games, I casually joked that Dwyane Wade’s plan was to “just get seriously hurt, like he does every year.” Then, today:
Dwyane […]
